Why is my cactus growing misshapen?

💬 2 · 👀 141
It has a strange shape, like it's stretched out. So far I haven't had to do anything like this and that's why I have so many doubts. I don't want to rush, but I also don't want to do too little and make it worse later.

It's etiology due to lack of light. Place it in direct sunlight and it will avoid deforming. I was also scared at first, but going slowly worked out. Something similar happened to me and in the end I decided to wait a bit longer before doing anything.

Cacti really stretch or etiolated from lack of light, but right now I don't recommend putting it in direct sun all at once—do it gradually until in a couple of weeks it's in full sun.
