POMEGRANATE BONSAI

💬 1 · 👀 107
Hi, I have a pomegranate bonsai. I struck a small branch and now two additional branches are sprouting from it. They keep growing but are very thin—what should I do??

It's normal for new pomegranate branches to grow long and thin at first, especially if it comes, for example, from a cutting. The best thing is to put it in a spot where it gets sunlight and let it grow for a while so the branches thicken. Later you can pinch it to strengthen and shape it. It's not a problem; it's part of the process.
